Placing an oversampling plugin at the end of your FX chain
is enough to obtain the resampling benefit for the entire chain
including all the plugins before it and even those without it.

This meant opening heavy plugins with large interfaces
just to use their oversampler. That felt wasteful.

So the idea was to build something as small and light as possible:
just the oversampler, nothing else.

The clipper came naturally from another observation:
when oversampling is applied to an already clipped waveform,
the reconstruction process introduces slight overshoots
that push the signal back into distortion.

Adding a hard clipper after the downsampling stage
keeps the output clean and within limits.

The idea behind

Placing an oversampling plugin at the end of the FX chain can bring resampling benefits to the chain before it. This plugin keeps the idea minimal: just the oversampler, plus a hard clipper after downsampling to keep the output clean and within limits.
